Kaiko has secured new backing from S&P Global and several major players across finance and digital assets. The investment lifts its Series B total to $110 million. Growing institutional interest in tokenized markets is placing greater focus on trusted onchain data services. Participating investors will also join a Kaiko-led group focused on standards for tokenized markets.

Major Financial Firms Join Kaiko’s Series B Extension

Kaiko has expanded its Series B funding to $110 million following a strategic investment led by S&P Global. Several major financial and digital asset firms joined the round, including BNP Paribas, Nasdaq Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, and Royal Bank of Canada.

Other participants included Bpifrance, Broadridge, Canton Foundation, Stellar, DRW Venture Capital, and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments. Existing investors Anthemis, Point Nine, and Revaia also participated, adding further support to the extension.

The crypto market data provider stated that the investor group reflects rising institutional interest in data infrastructure for tokenized capital markets. Alongside their investment, participating firms have joined a Strategic Industry Working Group chaired by Kaiko. Members will contribute to discussions around data standards and infrastructure for tokenized financial products.

CEO Ambre Soubiran said participating investors cover pricing, trading, capital allocation, and blockchain development. She described them as partners who can help shape how institutional capital moves onchain.

Cathy Clay, CEO of S&P Dow Jones Indices, said Kaiko turns complex crypto trading and onchain activity into reliable intelligence. She added that trusted data can give institutions greater confidence when committing capital to digital assets.

Kaiko Strengthens Market Reach Through Cometh and Amberdata Deals

Recent expansion efforts by Kaiko have included the acquisitions of Cometh and Amberdata. Cometh adds MiCA-regulated DeFi infrastructure capabilities, while Amberdata strengthens the firm’s presence in the U.S. digital asset data market. Kaiko has also launched the S&P Kaiko Digital Asset Indices suite and continues working with Bloomberg on data services.

The crypto market data provider continues to support its institutional business with established regulatory credentials. Its operations carry SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 attestations, while Kaiko Indices is authorized under the EU Benchmark Regulation. The unit is also listed on ESMA’s benchmark administrator register. In addition, Cometh holds authorization from France’s AMF as a crypto-asset service provider under MiCA.

Kaiko also follows IOSCO principles for financial benchmarks. Management said the financing will support regulated data services as tokenized finance moves further into mainstream capital markets.
