XRP whale inflows to Binance hit a 7-month high of $112.4M. Find out why selling may be fading and which price levels matter next.
The loudest XRP sell signal in months may already be behind the market.
Whales sent a monthly average of $112.4 million in XRP to Binance, the highest reading since March, according to analyst Darkfost. That sits well above the roughly $90 million average of the past three months.
Yet inflows have since returned to more typical levels. XRP now trades at $1.32, down 4.41% in 24 hours and up 2.66% over seven days. Trading volume stands at $1.71 billion.
Darkfost defines whales as transactions above 1 million XRP. Since August, their monthly average Binance inflows have climbed by $72 million. Daily spikes have topped $400 million.

The timing is hard to miss. XRP has rebounded more than 30% since August. Large holders had gains to lock in.
The mechanism is simple. Coins moved to an exchange can be sold quickly. Rising inflows therefore point to intent to sell, not confirmed selling. That reading is interpretation, not verified fact.

XRP Price Is Stuck Below a Key Trendline
On the 4-hour chart, analyst CryptoBusy says XRP is testing a major descending resistance trendline.
The token recovered from $1.26 toward $1.40. It briefly broke above the line, then slipped back toward $1.34. Rejection appeared near $1.37.
That pullback fits the whale story. A rally that attracts heavy selling often struggles to extend.
But the data shows two events, not a proven cause. Nobody can say from these figures that whale deposits drove the rejection.

The Bullish Case Is Not Dead
Here is the contrarian read. Darkfost notes that the September peak sits well below the one seen in August. Inflows have also returned to more typical levels. If so, the wave of whale supply has already passed.
Price has held above the $1.26 rebound low so far. A market that absorbs a seven-month high in whale inflows and does not collapse deserves some credit.
CryptoBusy points to a confirmed breakout above $1.38 to $1.40 as the trigger. That could open a path toward $1.45 to $1.50. Those are the analyst’s levels, not forecasts.
The same analyst says the broader downtrend stays intact until resistance breaks and holds.
What to Watch Next
Four conditions will show which reading wins:
- Whale inflows: A renewed climb above the $112.4 million average would revive selling concerns. Darkfost warns the situation can change quickly.
- The $1.33 level: CryptoBusy says losing it could push XRP toward $1.30 and then $1.26.
- The $1.38 to $1.40 zone: A confirmed close above it would support the bullish case.
- Trading volume: Breakouts on thin volume deserve skepticism. Watch whether the $1.71 billion daily figure holds.
Whales have already shown their hand once. The next move belongs to price.
